ABOUT PEWAWORLD
My name is Pewa, which means “Be given”. I have chosen to use Pewa for my music career,
not only because it’s easy but it represents my roots, native Africa. As my name goes, I pray
God gives you the desires of your heart and fulfills his purpose for you.
My encounter with the Lord.
I gave my life to Jesus as young as nine years old. I was alone, no alter call, but I had an
encounter with a lady who had dedicated her life to Christ as Catholic nun. Her love and
compassion towards others as she served left a remarkable touch in my heart that changed
my life forever and from that moment I desired to know the Jesus she was living for so I can
as well touch others with love and compassion through what God has placed in my heart to
do for the kingdom. The encounter I had with the Lord as a little girl, that shaped my life,
and gave me a safe and dedicated teenage and adulthood pursuing things of God.
