My encounter with the Lord.
I gave my life to Jesus as young as nine years old. I was alone, no alter call, but I had an encounter with a lady who had dedicated her life to Christ as Catholic nun. Her love and compassion towards others as she served left a remarkable touch in my heart that changed my life forever and from that moment I desired to know the Jesus she was living for so I can as well touch others with love and compassion through what God has placed in my heart to do for the kingdom. The encounter I had with the Lord as a little girl, that shaped my life,
and gave me a safe and dedicated teenage and adulthood pursuing things of God.
My Music journey
2004
I continued singing in every school I moved into, in church choirs and praise teams. In 2004 I joined a charismatic worship group in Arusha, which was the beginning of my career to solo recording. While in this team, I met a music director, who noticed both my ability to sing and passion to music, who encouraged me to start working on recording my songs. In the same year, 2004 I was able to record my first ever single called Mungu u mwema. (We will put a link to the song )2012 - 2018
Between 2012 and 2018, I made three attempts to continue producing both audio and video album which did not work as well. In Dec 2019 , after 7 years of asking God what I should do with serving him, the right team to have that can magnify Christ and produce beautiful impactful gospel music that can be shared across the world, I was then introduced to Fishers records, which God used them to bring a major turnaround in my music career.1994
I began my music journey back in school, singing in school choirs, as young as 9 years old. In 1994 selected by my school to join other students from different schools in Dar es salaam to form a choir, that participated in the famous UMITASHUMTA competitions.2005 - 2010
In 2005, I formally signed with a recording company to do both audio and video production for my first album, this project was intended to be done in two years. With other factors in play, the production was not completed timely, and in 2010 the recording label left Tanzania while the production for both records was not completed. This is how my first Album was put on hold.now
My gospel music ministry has evolved with time, it has been a journey full of trials, pain, fears, uncertainties, but deep down in my heart, God has kept me going and holding on, and the assurance of the transformation power gospel music has, and the desire Jesus Christ has put in me to bring hope and healing through the message in each song I have written and sang by the help of Holy Spirit. I am grateful to God for making all things work for my good, and for having brought us to this reason. I welcome you to this site where you will be uplifted, encouraged, challenged, engaged and supported to be the best version of yourself, as I engage you in this journey of watching and listening to songs from my first album ever, which will go by the name of Arise/Inuka.
